Charles UTOVAC

Dr. Utovac earned his dental degree in 1998 at the University of Western Ontario, in London.  Upon graduation, he first practiced for half of a year in the Yukon getting a chance to live among the most beautiful part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.  With time, he felt the pull of his hometown and returned to Ottawa.  Now, he enjoys the excitement of practicing general and artistic dentistry in downtown Ottawa.  Before studying dentistry, Charles completed an Honors degree in Economics at the University of Ottawa.  In his spare time, Dr. Utovac is a passionate musician, record collector and radio disk jockey.

Charles Anthony has been a musician since childhood and continues to perform, compose and record.  His instrumental experience is vast and he currently plays the bass every Sunday in his church folk group.  Another one of his hobbies is amateur radio.  As an avid volunteer of Radio Carleton CKCU 93.1 FM, he has compiled the Community Events and the Arts Events calendars.  Occasionally, his voice can be heard in radio advertisements and regularly, his voice is heard Thursdays from 12Midnight to 2AM every early, early Friday morning.  He hosts and produces Ottawa Live Music the only show in the city to feature live studio performances by up and coming independent musicians from the Ottawa music scene.
